This holiday season, I’m on the receiving end of the most wonderful gift ever. I get to make Touchy/Feely a reality. The time has finally arrived to get to work with the band. What started out as a simple get rich quick scam, has now evolved into something my lawyer informs me I’m legally required to follow through to it’s end.
Next week, before the Christmas Holiday, I’ll be traveling by private jet (thanks to your generous donations) to Upstate New York with 3 very fine musicians. A ragtag crew of international ladykillers collectively known as “The Daring Young Swingers”. We’ll lounge in the finest silks imported from the far East. Sip vintage wine from golden goblets (thanks again for your generous support) relax by a crackling log fire while isolated from the distracting ebb and flow of the maddening holiday crowd . All of this to guarantee that upon returning in January we are well rehearsed and ready to record the album of a lifetime. Touchy/Feely.
So, without further ado… I give you The Daring Young Swingers
Scott Metzger (born October 12, 1977) is a Brooklyn, New York based guitarist. Upon hearing him play at a festival in 2002 James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, told Scott that his guitar playing is “Frightening! I swear you play so much guitar it scares me!” His sound is a combination of his biggest musical influences-Eddie Hazel, Danny Gatton, Wes Montgomery, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Richard Thompson, Jimi Hendrix and the entire Stax recording label catalog.
Jeremy Chatzky is a bass player living in New York City, specializing in both upright and electric bass. He played on the Bruce Springsteen album the Seeger Sessions and toured with Springsteen as a member of the Sessions Band in 2006. That tour was documented on the Live In Dublin CD and DVD. He can be heard on the recent release by Ronnie Spector — Last of the Rock Stars — and performs with her regularly.
Steve Goulding (born 1954, South London, England) is an English drummer, best known for his memberships with Graham Parker and The Rumour, The Associates, Poi Dog Pondering and The Mekons. With the Associates he had a UK #9 hit single with “Party Fears Two”. He also played the drums on the hit single “Let’s Go to Bed” by The Cure and “Watching the Detectives” with Elvis Costello.

YES! Well, to me you and Richy were already super ladykillers, but if you want to add some more, it just looks even better and it will sound that also, as from what I can read these Gents know the story very well!!! LOVE, M*
